This is the published rate for Dr. J’s time, one hour at a time, and you can buy at it. It is the only figure on this site you can act on without speaking to her first — which is exactly why it is here.
Most families should not buy hours this way. A comprehensive month works out cheaper per hour and carries the things an hour cannot — every draft read between sessions, deadlines tracked, and a reply when your student is stuck at 10pm on a Tuesday. Single hours are here for the cases that do not fit a package: a second opinion on a school list, one essay before a deadline, or a family who wants to sit with Dr. J once before deciding anything.
You will pick a time after payment. If the hour turns out to be the wrong thing for your student, Dr. J will say so on the call — that is the same promise as the free consultation.
Dr. J needs to know who she is coaching before an hour can be booked, so this starts the same way everything else does — with the short form. It takes two minutes, and the consultation itself is free.
